Undoubtedly, Brockhampton has had one of the most successful years in music. From their breakout performance at Coachella to the release of their critically acclaimed album, iridescence, the band has proven itself to be one of the most creative and innovative groups in music today.
However, with recent rumors of infighting and member departures, many fans wonder if Brockhampton will get back together. In this article, we’ll look at the band’s history and try to answer that question.
Will Brockhampton Get Back Together?
Despite calling it quits on their performance career, the electrifying Texas-born supergroup hip hop boy band BROCKHAMPTON has revived hopes for one last album as a group.
The boyband’s vocalist Kevin Abstract announced on Twitter that their final album would be released in 2022 after their performance at Coachella on Saturday, April 16, which they declared would be their final live performance as a unit.
This information was revealed after they initially declared in January that they would be on an “indefinite hiatus,” leading fans to believe that ROADRUNNER would be their final work. However, it appears that BH still has some gas left in its tank and can see the finish line.
Even without a title, cover art, track listing, or release date yet, the next album is very interesting given that Abstract also intends to release a solo album soon.
“BROCKHAMPTON’s upcoming shows at the O2 Academy Brixton in London and Coachella will be our final performances as a group,” the band wrote.
The Future Of Brockhampton
The release of Brockhampton’s final album is scheduled for 2022. After revealing beforehand that the band will be taking an indefinite break following the two-weekend Coachella festival, they announced their performance on Saturday, April 16.
What’s Causing Brockhampton To End?
Due to an increase in COVID cases across the continent, Brockhampton decided to postpone most of their 2022 European tour last month. The concerts, which were promoted alongside the band’s 2019 album “Ginger,” were initially scheduled for the summer of 2020 but were postponed owing to COVID-19 regulations.
Is Coachella Brockton The Final Performance?
People flocked to the Sahara amphitheater on Saturday night to witness one of the festival’s most unusual performances: BROCKHAMPTON’s final-ever performance. Following their appearances at Coachella this year, the group announced on January 14 that they would be taking an “indefinite vacation.”
